Author: Margarita Rodriguez
Margarita is a returning fourth year Social Work student: she attended California State University, Los Angeles in 2004. During her time away, she served burn survivors at a local non-profit, was married and has an 11-year-old son. One of her proudest moments has been to attend Citrus Community College and earn an A.A. degree. Margarita then re-applied and was accepted to Cal State LA as a returning student. She is blessed to have the support of her husband and family: without them it would not have been possible to return to CSULA to finally earn a B.A. in Social Work.
