Born in El Salvador, Jeffry Umaña Muñoz (he/el) is an undocumented student organizer from San Bernardino, CA with recent degrees in both Chicana/o and Central American Studies and Labor Studies from UCLA. Jeffry serves as Co-Chairperson for the Undocumented Student-Led Network (USN), a California-based network of immigrant youth leaders working towards creating a just and equitable future for immigrant communities. Jeffry is currently a student in the Masters of Arts in Latin American Studies program at CSU Los Angeles. At CSULA, Jeffry serves as Vice President for Students United to Reach Goals in Education (SURGE), the undocumented student advocacy organization.
